Hi,

I'm already using SSO Web config to manage the login for a collection of internet sites hosted across two physical servers in our domain.

Trouble is, when the browser is closed, the session ends (presumably a cookie expires) and the user needs to login again when the next hit one of the sites in the collection. This is a major problem for our company, specifically on the newer webkit browser used in Blackberry 6 and 7 devices.

I'm using a customised login form which is based on the dwaloginform used for inotes.

My question is: does anyone know of a way to extend the life of the session, for 24hrs say, so that the user can close the browser and still not need to login next time.

I've seen this done on ebay, facebook and yahoo mail. They have a box that you can tick to "keep me logged in".

Any help would be much appreciated. The solution needn't be for SSO; Single session is fine too.

Thanks for any ideas. My javscript progamming skill leaves alot to be desired but I'm willing to give it a go.
